No matter which you get, think about (here I go again with mods), adding separate non-attenuated outs for each of the filters along with the gnged attenuated one. Very nice addition and easy to impliment. hi john, buy the doepfer ;-) it has almost DOUBLE the freq.bands of the AS.and it has a very good sound!(though,i don't have the AS fiterbank to compare their sound...) as for build quality, both modulars seem very good to me. bakis. --- "jmaddocks1975 <jmaddocks1975@yahoo.co.uk>" <jmaddocks1975@yahoo.co.uk> wrote: > Hi all, > I'm after buying a fixed filter but can't decide > which one, after > noticing many doepfer and AS owners here I thought > I'd ask you guys. > which do you prefer, the AS or the Doepfer fixed > filer? > The doepfer one has more bands but I know the AS > multimode filter is > loved by so many people I thought maybe there's has > a better sound. > Filters are really down to personal taste, what some > people hate > others love, but a few comments would help me > decide. > > Any thoughts? > > Thanks > John. > > ===== synthfreak(parallel worlds) athens-greece [Doepfer_a100] group owner-moderator __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
