I took delivery of the DSP Delay and the Expander yesterday. They rock.

It's going to take me a few days of dinking around to get my arms around
this thing and I will post more as it and I become more familiar with one
another. If any of you have any specific questions, go ahead and post them
and I'll give them a shot.

It 30 wide, and looks pretty much like the prototype on the site.

Regarding getting it now: Ahhh....the benefits of living a block from Big
City Music!!

I'll try to do some samples this week and get them posted. I did some early
experiments with a mic and my voice with some very nice results - a la the
old Jimi Hendrix waves of varied delay.

Twas cool.

best,

Hi Peter,

Congrats on the new arrival! I
didn't realize these were shipping
yet.

How wide is the final RS290? is it
2x the width of, say, and RS95?

Thanks,

Ethan

RS290 menu selections

2003-03-04 by Peter Grenader

Interesting...I just looked on the site, the premininary spec listed for the
RS290 and it mentions that 'Reverb' should be a main menu mode selection. I
did see Sampler and Echo/Delay..but I didn't see Reverb, although
reverb-type effects are possible of course with the Delay.

Possibly I wasn't doing something right (highly likely) or the final verion
of the op system omitted this. In any event, from what I understood from
Bob WIlliams, the OS is upgradable.

Sorry for all these repated posts. I'll wait unti l this evening and send
one consise listing.

Great ! :-)
I'd like to hear the sound of the DSP Delay. Can you upload some samples ?
