Hi, I just received a BCR2000 yesterday afternoon from Digital Village. Plugged it in, turned it on and installed the drivers from the Behringer website (Windows XP Pro), seemed to work fine. The power on version showed 1.03 so I decided to upgrade to the latest OS version before continuing. Using MidiOX I sent the bcr2000_1-04.syx file to the device as per instructions on the website. There were a couple of errors shown on the device's display, and it finished with the message "boot". I turned the BCR2000 off and then on, only to be greeted by "noOS" displayed and the STORE and LEARN buttons lit. The BCR2000 didn't respond to anything. The solution is to power on the device while holding down the STORE and LEARN buttons. The display should now read LOAD. You then need to plug a MIDI cable OUT from the PC, to IN on the BCR2000, and send the sysex upgrade to the BCR2000 through this. This worked for me and now I have a perfectly functioning BCR2000 again. I hope this helps someone!
