Because that doesn't work for me. It turned out that it was indeed a bug in the program which affected the reopening of syx/txt files (not the saving). I hadn't spotted this bug earlier because it only occurred for the ELEMENT (button/encoder/fader) names of the MEMORY presets (not of the temporary preset, "preset 0"). Tricky. In fact, the bug was in the routine that copies one element to another, so it also occurred if you used the "Copy" and "Paste" routines for any element. I've fixed it now - just in time for version 1.1.0, which is completely ready now. I just want to run some final tests to see if nothing disastrous has gone wrong before I upload it. Thanks a lot anyway for pointing out this problem! The new manual is completely ready as well, apart from a final spellcheck. It won't be long now... Mark.
