Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi there,

my BCR2000 seems to have developed a problem. When I plug it in, by  
USB, everything generally works fine for a few seconds.
Then the unit no longer sends any output when I turn the knobs /  
press buttons. If I have it connected to e.g. Ableton Live, it still  
receives feedback as usual as can be seem on the leds updating.

I've tried replacing the cord, I've tried different host apps and  
MIDI settings, different USB routing. I thought it was down to my  
old, dying powerbook loosing its hearing, I mean USB connections.
But no, I've got a brand new macbook and it does the same thing.

So I guess the USB connection is pretty much skrewed, somehow. Bad  
soldering? I might just have to get ye olde iron out. My question is:  
has anyone else seen this behaviour? Did you find a solution?

I'll try plugging it through the MIDI ports on my axiom to see if  
that works.
