Re: Yamaha TX81Z Presets

2008-04-29 by Jim Wicked

Assuming that the TX81Z editor is valid, it should work just fine (the
site I ripped them off from was from an artist that used it regularly,
so if there's anything wrong, it's probably with my BCR2000.)

If the WT11 can take TX81Z patches, I don't foresee any problems.
I've got a YS200 keyboard that takes the same patches as the TX81Z,
and though I still haven't gotten my BCR2000 to work properly in this
respect, I've got a software patch editor which works fine on both the
YS200 and the TX81Z. Yamaha is pretty good about cross-integration
with the different FM synths. I just hope somebody gets the BCR2000
to work for this function and that it is just my particular unit
that's malfunctioning. I don't mind buying another one, but
otherwise, FM synthesis is going to have to take a permanent leave of
absence from my studio because I'm not going to be using a computer in
there anymore.
