Alessandro, A couple of things come to mind... 1 why not run a midi cable that length. http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.asp?m=1353338&mpage=1&key=Cable% 2CLengths\ufffd has some discussion on length... now 100m is a long run! Seems like what you need is some kind of repeater in the middle... or have you considered some kind of wireless setup. A guy on that thread mentioned M-audio's wireless midi... not so sure about that one. Again, my thought is a cable much like a long xlr cable mentioned in the above thread... hmm... I wonder if there is an amp like box for mics. There must be... Do you understand what I suggest? This looks promising. http://www.jlcooper.com/pages/mla.html particularly the MLA-XLR MIDI Line Amplifier. Up to 1000feet using xlr cable. However, not cheap - http://www.midi-store.com/JL-Cooper-MLA-XLR-Midi- Line-Amp-p-16685.html However, maybe cheaper then the kiss thing. Here is the thing... http://store.castlestudios.com/product.php? productid=16157&cat=254&page=1 also not cheap. For the homebrewer... this sounds interesting but time to build.. http://www.wb5mrn.com/midi/midixtnd.htm wireless... http://www.kentonuk.com/products/midistream.shtml http://www.ghservices.com/products/midijet/ These look pretty expensive. Well, that is the end of my tale!
