Re: damn I hate my bcr - it barely works [update: now I love it]

Hi, this is an update on an old post just because it may help other
users if they get issues like mine and search the usergroup.

As detailed below my BCR experience was hellish, I lost USB connection
all the time and although I tried many things to resolve it, all
failed. After 11 months of swapping cables, drivers, different
computers, and even re-installing an operating system .. I sent the
unit back to Behringer.

The replacement has been with me for about 50 days now and has worked
perfectly all the time, every time. So it seems that it was a hardware
issue, an odd one, but that's what it seems to have been.

So if anyone else has issues, especially with maintaining a USB
connection and finds themselves swapping drivers for a [Generic USB
Audio Device], wondering if it is their computer, or OS ... just
consider that it really may be broken. Contact Behringer support and
describe the steps you have taken. I spent far too long on this issue
when I could have been having fun.

Thanks to Behringer who dealt with the support issue smoothly and
painlessly, and secondly thank god, because it actually works now!! ;)

all the best - Angstrom
