Hi Joakim
Sorry about the silence, I guess there aren't many Cubase users out
there so I have a stab at the problem.

Unfortunately I don't use Cubase or Blockfish (free VST Compressor),
but it sounds like a problem with Cubase or the VST not the BCR.
Does Cubase set the controller on a project by project basis?
If this is true then you should set up a template that has all the
stuff connected and when you want to start a new piece load it and do
a Save As before you start doing any thing else. (Backing it up is
also probabaly a good thing as well)
