Hey, what's up! It's me again. M'kay: I've reinstalled the BCF2000
drivers (this time I wrote down what I did in case I have to do it
again). Now it's recognizing my BCF. Cool.
But there's something in your instructions that I may not be doing
correctly. Husker, MidiYoke are installed and working correctly (i
can see them, lol). I started the BCF in "ncc" mode (2nd top button),
i then opened HuskerVu (showing nothing but title and version # -
expected), and then I fired up Cubase SX3. Ok, here's where it gets
tricky:
I went into Devices/Midi Device Manager to install the .xml file that
came with the .zip Cubase file d/l from the Behringer site (this may
be what's wrong, i dont' know)
I don't see "Mackie Contol" anywhere (I even tried starting in bHUI
mode just to see if that made any difference, of course it didn't).
So I chose the .xml file and created a BCF2000 device out of that
(going out to MidiYoke of course). Should I then use MIDI-OX to
re-send the Cubase .syx file to the BCF? Will that fix it?
Here's the other settings:
I went into Devices/Device Setup/MIDI INPUTS: BCF2000 (01) - YES
Line 6 Toneport UX2 - YES
The rest (midiyokes 1-8, NO)
" "/DEFAULT MIDI PORTS: BCF2000 IN
MIDI YOKE 1 OUT
