When you are in 'Learn' mode the next message the BC receives is either something it can deal with and assign to a control CC, sysex etc and it displays 'Good' otherwise "Bad' but as far as I know this is only in Learn mode. In normal operation if it receives a midi message it looks at all the controls set with easypar and and it tries to find a match to the Midi message. If it can it sets the value of those controls to the input Midi message value. You cannot set a sysex message with easypar so it would just ignore the message. Sorry Royce
