Thanks for agreeing with me, Kip! Actually, one thing that might work would be to narrow the range of the "0-16383" knobs to "0-127" unless the wide range is actually valid (e.g. if "Mode" has been set to a 14-bit value) and/or if the user specifically REQUESTS the wide range via an additional "14-bit range" checkbox or so. But again, in a sense that would also complicate things, so I don't know... It's just one of those headache-causing user-interface dilemmas... Mark.
