Check out the mackie presets for live ver. 5.0a or whatever number it is... in the files section. There is a pretty detailed pdf in the archive. http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/bc2000/files/Presets/Abeton%20Live%20Mackie%20Presets/ I think I even mention a few ways to get the sysex files to the bcr2000 with a mac. I forget. This pdf won't teach you how to use Live tho... Here our a couple of options for that - There is always the ableton site - I started there... http://www.ableton.com/community I have not tried this one... http://www.thewhippinpost.co.uk/videos/ableton-live-tutorial-videos.htm Kip --- In bc2000@yahoogroups.com, "earthtodylan2000" <sir_dss@...> wrote: > > Hi, > > I'm a bit lost and new to this so be easy on me. > > I have Ableton Live 7 on MAC OS X and just got a BCR2000 and have no idea where to start. > > I have read the manual but things are still confusing to me about how to set everything up. > > I'M not sure about how functions are defined so even searching the forum has caused confusion. > > I was at a point where I could go to the MIDI tab in Live in the top right corner and set the controls but I did something in the Preference menu (Dump) and now have lost the ability to do that. > > How can i load into the BCR2000 and Live some sort of template for basic features like record, stop, play, arm, mute, etc... > > > Thanks, > > David Scott Stone >
