Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi,

 I'm a bit lost and new to this so be easy on me.

I have Ableton Live 7 on MAC OS X and just got a BCR2000 and have no idea where to start.

I have read the manual but things are still confusing to me about how to set everything up.

I'M not sure about how functions are defined so even searching the forum has caused confusion. 

I was at a point where I could go to the MIDI tab in Live in the top right corner and set the controls but I did something in the Preference menu (Dump) and now have lost the ability to do that.

How can i load into the BCR2000 and Live some sort of template for basic features like record, stop, play, arm, mute, etc...

Check out the mackie presets for live ver. 5.0a or whatever number it is... in the files section.
There is a pretty detailed pdf in the archive.

I think I even mention a few ways to get the sysex files to the bcr2000 with a mac.  I forget.

This pdf won't teach you how to use Live tho...
