Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi all,

I know there are countless topics on the net about the generic remote
function in cubase sx(3), i also adviced the cubase manuals but i
can't seem to find the answer for my problem.

Goal: i want to control my vsti's AND external gear with the bcr thru
cubases generic remote (if possible)

Setting up the controls for the VSTi's is no problem at all, i can
control them and i get feedback from the controls.

BUT, which setting in gen. remote do i have to use for the external
gear? I tried to use the 'midi mixer' options, but cubase doesnt seem
to send the midi data out.

Alternatively i could ofcourse hook up the bcr to my midi-interface
and use this like a kind of patch bay. I just cant understand why it
doesnt work with the generic remote in cubase.

Any help is appriciated :)
