Which version of BC Manager are you using?
After similar complaints about version 1.5.1 from someone who used an alternative DPI (i.e. "magnification") setting, I spent about 2 full weeks improving things, so as far as I know, version 2.0.0 should work correctly in this respect.

You only mention your screen's size and bit depth - I can't see how either could be responsible for your problem.

In any case, as a workaround, you should still be able to "tab"/"shift tab" to any control.
