I dare say this has been answered before, but can't seee it.When I look at preset/buttons and choose edit/standard output tab, if it is "note" that is selected (under type) the mode box (select toggle on/off)covers the knobs so that I can't see the values or change them. I expect it will be to do with my screen settings (1024x768 32bpp). Any workaround/advice?

After similar complaints about version 1.5.1 from someone who used an alternative DPI (i.e. "magnification") setting, I spent about 2 full weeks improving things, so as far as I know, version 2.0.0 should work correctly in this respect. You only mention your screen's size and bit depth - I can't see how either could be responsible for your problem. In any case, as a workaround, you should still be able to "tab"/"shift tab" to any control. Mark.

I have mine set at 120 (125% normal),had to put it back to 96 and it works OK. And thanks for a great utility.

I'll run BC Manager (in a virtual machine) at your exact settings, to see what's wrong and (hopefully) correct it in the next version. Mark.

I've tried to reproduce your problem (under both XP Prof.+SP3 and Vista), but haven't been able to do so, so at the moment I'm at a complete loss as to the exact nature of the problem, let alone a solution.
Just to be sure we know what we're talking about, my current understanding of your problem is this:
In XP+SP3/Home, at a DPI setting of 120 DPI ("125%"), in BC Manager 2.0.0's button dialog, on the "standard output" tab, if Type is set to Note, the Mode (Toggle On/Toggle Off) box covers the other knobs.
Is this correct?
Some further questions:
- Apart from the alternative DPI setting, have you defined any other special display settings (e.g. special border widths)?
- Which screen control(s) is/are "wrong"? That is: has the Mode box moved to the left or have the knobs moved to the right?
If you know how to make a screen shot, I would appreciate it if you could send a shot of the button dialog box to me. (E.g. via the IrfanView utility you can "capture" an individual window.)
- Does the problem occur ONLY for button->note? Not for any other Type settings or in the encoder dialog box?
One particularly interesting case is Type=GS/XG Parameter, since that Type uses the same Mode box, but at a different position, so I'm particulary curious about that situation.

1/What we are talking about.
yes to all.
2/Further questions.
Nothing else defined.
3/Screen controls.
Mode box moves to left and covers both knobs.
4/button/note only? dont know.I will reset to 120DPI and look at all others but AFAIK button only.
5/Do you mean attach screenshot here? - how?.
6/Further observations.
Also I should mention that I use a dual monitor setup. the video card is ATI radeon 9800XL (Medion oem). The PRIMARY monitor is set to 1024x768 and the SECONDARY to 1280x1024 (because the primary = 15" and the secondary = 17")to keep them looking both the same. There is no difference (ie same problem)on both monitors.2009-03-14 by johntremble72

Yes GS/XG interferes with all boxes but not as badly as "note"
