Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi All,

I've had my BCR now for a month and used it properly for approximately 10 minutes. I really hope one of you guys can help because I'm stuck with this unit.

I have installed all the drivers and set up some presets as per instructions. The firmware is up to date and it's the newest driver, etc. I've had it working a couple of times fine... briefly...

As I've read on a number of similar posts, the driver for XP32bit needs reinstalling almost every time I reboot my computer. And even when I do that Live 8 does not always recognise the unit (even though MCmanager does).

I want to use the unit for Mackie control in S-2 mode on Live 8. Sysex preset 4 for Live is installed in the machine. 
I've seen posts with similar problems, but no solution.

Should I give up on the Behringer drivers and start working out how to use the unit through the midi ports and another USB midi interface? If so, how do I route this to get visual feedback in MCE?

Or is there a clever solution. This would seem to be the place to find one.

Would REALLY appriciate some help here guys!!!
