SOLVED! Changed Midiyoke to not detect feedback by data rate! Through Control Panel's midiyoke menu. It is all working great as I currently I have it set to detect feedback by controller ID. I've done my short test of previously making it break which was moving a fader by mouse quickly up & down, or by moving the push encoder quickly many times. My system: Windows 7 Ableton 8.1.3 Now if I didn't have to manually end the Ableton Live process in Task Manager manually after I close, my current puzzles would be solved! BTW, Ctrl-Shift-Esc shortcut to task manager. --- In bc2000@...m, "ezang" <ezang@...> wrote: > > Hi, I've been gradually learning about using the bcr and this preset. I generally have it working, along with huskervu and midiyoke (I've only installed one channel), including having the dpots working. I've configured ableton's midi preferences properly - as far as I can tell, but I'm not quite sure about the proper On/Off status of Track/Sync/Remote. > > All seems to work fine for a couple of tweaks but then various problems occur, (which I assume may be related to a common issue). > > Push encoders (acting as faders, preset 21) lose sync with on screen mouse fader changes, resulting in jumps in values when the push encoder is used. When some ch select buttons are pressed other channel select buttons may turn off or on. All this is quite confusing of course, but I found that double clicking to select a channel maintains consistency in operating them, but the visual feedback of the button lights are mixed up. > > Thanks for any help, I would love to get this working! > Eric >
