I can't understand this connection.

If a Midi message is transmitted from any gear it would go around and around

FCB->Axe->BCF->FCB(merge)->Axe->BCF->FCB(merge) etc

Take the FCBout of the equation
Try just Mode U4 with just the PC, the BCF and the Axe connected

PCout->BCF USBin->BCFMidiAout->Axe
Axe->BCF Midiin->BCF USB out->PCin

Although it looks like a loop it isn't because PCin is not connected to PCout
ie the PC sends some Midi and it ends up at the Axe. The Axe sends midi and it
ends up at the PC.
If you move a fader the BCF could send a message to the Axe

So the USB is working, then it just sounds like you are not connected correctly.
