I've been working on a custom cubase 5 template for the "generic remote" in cubase devices (in short, a custom template for controlling cubase). I've used NRPN and assigned most of the commands and they work well. The classic buttons work fine, but when trying to assign a command to a push encoder (1st row, using encoder groups) it doesn't work! I tried using NRPN or CC, but nothing. The same commands work fine when using classic buttons, but I need them on the encoders. Please help anyone with some advanced midi knowledge.. what am I doing wrong?
