Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

I just got a BCR2000 and I'm making templates for some softsynths I have. I'm trying to set up some of the buttons to have a 'toggle' function for more values than 2, instead of on/off switch. For example changing mono/poly/legato modes. I tried setting upp CC value with 'increments' in Controller Mode and 'Steps: 3' in Controller Option, but that didn´t seem to work so well. How would I do this? Is it possible?
