Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

So for instance...do i run the bcr in usb or midi mode when using bc manager ?? I simply want to take the mks-50 preset ..transfer it to the bcr2000 and then get the bcr 2000 to chat to my mks -50...I am across midi ins out thru played keys for years ..Just help on the intial setup and software application steps..PLEASE ..thanks
