So does the problem occur only with the 8 knobs in the top row or with ALL encoders? In any case I can't imagine that all 8 (or 32) encoders are physically defective. There might be something wrong with the "general" electronics of your BCR, but that doesn't seem very likely either. Are you sure you're using the correct SysEx messages? Have you looked at "BC MIDI Implementation.pdf" (available from my website http://home.kpn.nl/f2hmjvandenberg281/ ), section 17.3 ? If you're using BC Manager, it should be very easy to experiment with different resolutions. I'm not sure how fast your "very fast" is, but I suppose that at extreme speeds the encoders might indeed start to behave erratically - I've never tried. But if you set the ".resolution" parameter(s) reasonably high, it shouldn't be necessary to turn the knobs extremely fast. Hope this helps, Mark.
