Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

So Im a total noob to this, and i feel like i am real close to getting this thing working. I have the Jx-8p loaded to the BCR (which is in s-1 and the JX is on channel 16 like the readme says) and i try to control the JX and nothing happens, any ideas? I feel like im close and i am missing one simple thing. let me know what you think.
