My name is Edward and I am hoping to sound design a live theatrical production using the BCR2000 controlling a dedicated audio laptop and Ableton Live configured as a live mixer with effects and including the ability to playback sound clips. The emphasis will be on using the BCR2000 to mix live mics on stage.
I am hoping to get support from this forum in the form of answers to questions as they come up. My professional experience is in the realm of live sound, but regarding MIDI my experience is really only as an intermediate beginner- I have used MIDI keyboards to control virtual instruments, but nothing as deep as configuring a BCR/BCF2000.
I have to set this all up within a week to take the piece on tour.
Am I in the right place to try to get some sympathetic help?
