I'm not an expert on Live, but here's what I just did: 1. Switched on the BCF2000 in "MC C" Emulation Mode (by holding the second top button from the left), in Operating Mode "U-1". (Actually I'm not sure which Emulation Mode works best for Live. You might try studying the layouts in Behringer's "BCF2000_Emulation_modes.pdf".) 2. Started Live 8.2 (under Windows 7). 3. In Live's Preferences dialog box on the "MIDI Sync" tab: Control Surface: Mackie Control (there may be a better choice for this, but at least this worked for me) Input: BCF2000 Output: BCF2000 4. In "Session" view, I inserted 20 audio tracks by "Insert Audio Track" (Ctrl+T). Now I can work as follows: a. To switch between tracks 1-8, 9-16 and 17-20, I press the "< PRESET" and "PRESET >" buttons on the BCF2000. The BCF2000's motors respond immediately by updating the fader positions. b. When I move a fader on the BCF2000, the corresponding tracks's on-screen fader in Live moves accordingly, and vice versa. This works for all 20 tracks. Is this what you're after? Right now I can't get things working in the BCF's standard "B-Control" (preset) mode: when I "Dump" Live's setup for the BCF2000 to the BCF2000, the BCF2000's display shows "Er22"; this may indicate a bug in what Live is sending to the BCF2000 - or else I'm missing something... Hope this helps, Mark.
