Hi Mark,

Thank you very much for your quick response. It is much appreciated. I'm glad to hear I can go directly to the 1.10 FW. I am running Windows XP SP3 and have tried using Behringers "Firmware Update Utility" without success. The utility see the BCF2000 and reports the current FW. However, when I click OK to flash it the utility just quits. I have Zonealarm and Avast free running. Do you think they could be interfering with the flash process?

Yes, you have been most helpful so I will gladly retrieve my 1.03 FW for you. Just let me know how to do it.

Cheers,

Tim.

I tried updating straight to the 1.10 FW size 70kb from Behringers site but this did not seem to work. I noticed that there was also a much bigger 1.07 FW size 850kb so thought I may need this first before I can apply the 1.10 FW. Anyway, the 1.07 FW download link on Behringers site just takes you to their main page. I've reported this to them but not surprisingly I've had absolutely no response.

Yes, that link for 1.07 seems wrong.

But in any case you don't need to install 1.07 first before 1.10,
and 1.07's firmware data as such isn't bigger than 1.10: it's simply that the zip file for 1.07 contains a 776 kB "readme" pdf file.

First question: which operating system are you on?

If you're on Windows, you can use my BC Manager to update the firmware, so I could give you further instructions then.

However, I'm also very interested in the data of your 1.03 firmware, for various reasons.
So I would be very grateful if you could retrieve your 1.03 firmware data from your BCF2000 before you upgrade to 1.10. If you're on Windows, I'll tell you how to do this.

Mark.
