I've been using my BCR2000 with REAPER and AmbiLoop for a couple of years now. Earlier this week I thought I'd try configuring it as a control surface. Everything went well and it worked first time :)
And so a day or so later, the BCR just stopped sending any MIDI. The LEDs are lighting when I turn knobs, push buttons, but my MIDI interface isn't registering anything. I've tried setting it up as a MIDI device, as a control surface (I tried both the BCR and the BCF options). I've tried it with another computer & MIDI interface and it's the same.
MIDI coming in to the unit appears to be OK, because doing anything inside the software causes the LEDs to flash on the BCR. I should probably also mention that I can't get the thing to install in USB mode any more. It used to be OK but or some reason it's seemingly stopped being able to use USB. The Behringer installer times out at the "please connect your device" step, and Windows just says the device failed to start / wasn't recognized. BCManager can't detect it either :(
Is it time for me to look at getting a new BCR? :'-(
