Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi, I recently bought a BCR-2000 and am having some difficulty getting it going.

When I hit the edit then store buttons, they do not stay lit so I can't change any global settings or choose an operating mode. Also, with the exception of the push encoder group buttons, all of the buttons don't do anything but say 'on' when I press them and then say 'off' when I let go. The unit is on Preset 1 with no way of changing it. 

I've tried resetting it and re-updating the firmware countless times with no change.

Can anyone help??
