Hi! I'm totally new to sysex programming, so bare with me. I purchased a bcr 2000 to control various settings on my Yamaha An1x, and I'm seeing huge potential right away. The step sequencer control with BCR is a dream come true, and I'm really near to turning this previously tedious feature into a fully working analogue style hands on sequencer! I'm considering different approaches on how to setup this, and an idea came to me that it would be nice to be able to a) transpose the whole sequence b) transpose step at a time I have the top row encoders programmed to control step sequencers note values. If I set a button to increment the note values of the sequencer, it will do it, but within its own range, that is it doesn't naturally care what value the encoder controlling that step has. A workaround I came up with, would be that the button sends the message not to the synthesizer, but within BCR 2000 sends a message to increment the value of the encoder, and thus the encoder value change sends the programmed sysex to An1x. Is this a pipe dream, or would you come up with a better/working solution? Thank! -htk
