I've now added a gray shadow to the site name; this indeed looks more classy; hopefully it's also more legible.
Secondly, I've turned the slogan into dark gray.
Hopefully these changes alleviate your problem, so I've left the orange background gradient alone for now.
Thanks!
Mark.

That's better, but I think the letters with stand out if they had a thin black background or some other kind of shading to outline them. It would look more classy too. Other than that I forgot to tell you it's a good looking site pretty much all around.

Thanks for reporting this!
You mean the white letters of "Mountain Utilities" (and the motto) on the orange background?
It looks fine on my monitor, but it might indeed be different on monitors with other color temperatue settings.
Of course I can darken the background a bit and/or lighten the letters, but before I do, can you check whether the new site (http://mountainutilities.eu/) is worse for you than the old site (http://home.kpn.nl/f2hmjvandenberg281/)?
The old site uses a single background color, the new site a top-to-bottom gradient, so that might be part of the problem.
Mark.

You might want to tweak the colors. I cannot read your business name at the top very well at all. Maybe it's just my eyes or it is my monitor but it's really hard to see for me. One mans opinion.

Hi everyone!
This is to let you know that the Mountain Utilities website has moved to:
http://mountainutilities.eu
This new website does not just contain BC and BCN Manager and the info documents that used to be at the old Mountain Utilities site, but is fully interactive.
For instance:
The new site has a B-Control forum, where you can discuss anything related to the BCF2000, BCR2000 and BCN44.
More specifically, from now on this new forum is the official support site for BC and BCN Manager, so please go there for any questions.
The new site also has an upload area for B-Control presets and BC Manager's SysEx model definition files - in fact anything related to the BCF/BCR2000 and BCN44.
So I'm looking forward to meeting you at the new Mountain Utilities website!
Mark van den Berg.
