I wouldn't even risk that.
It could easily melt the plastic parts (depending on what the plastic is) or strip off the paint.
Water it a very good solvent, and, by itself, it won't conduct electricity.
With persistence it should remove the sticky stuff with frequent changes of a cotton bud..
If nothing else, it should be the first thing to try.
