All I want to do is to get the BCR2000 controlling things in Ableton - nothing fancy, just basic stuff for recording. Ideally I'd like to be able to edit things to my liking but that's not really immediately important - I just want to get on with some work. All the posts I find here and in other places seem way too complicated for my purpose. What I've got going so far is I've set the BCR2000 as a control surface in Live with all the settings as commonly suggested, run a dump from Live to the unit and mapped the transport buttons to some of the switches. These mappings disappear when I relaunch Live. Can someone please direct me to a very simple, step by step guide to getting this thing going?
