Maybe the matrix1000 sysex file is only valid for the matrix1000 synth? Anyway I got a matrix1000 and I'm interested on this subject

Hi,
I bought a BCR2000 and I'm trying to use it in order to edit params on my Matrix6R; putting BCR2000 in Learn mode, in order to read MIDI messages from M1000X (Matrix editor OSX), does not work (BCR displays "bad" in response to any attempt to assign a parameter to its knobs...); I also tried to import a preset file in sysex format which I found uploaded to the files directory of this group (file name is "Matrix1000.syx"): again, it does't work (the preset is actually installed but my synth ignores all messages from BCR, except Midi NoteOn/Off coming from an external keyboard thru BCR itself).
Question is: is anybody out there who could help me with a working preset or any other solution?
