RE: [bc2000] Adding a third BC

Hi, Royce, just wondering: does each unit intelligently merge data from its MIDI in with its own internally generated MIDI messages? Otherwise, you shouldn't twiddle knobs/faders on two(+) devices at the same time, or you would send out some really garbled MIDI... thoughts?

Hi Richard,
I have 4 BC units connected up.

BC1 MIDI Out-> BC2 Midi In -> BC2 Midi Out -> BC3 Midi In -> BC3 Midi Out -> BC4 Midi In -> BC USB Midi Out

BC1, 2 & 3 in Solo-1 mode and BC4 in USB-4 mode.

BC4 is a BCF and all the rest are BCR, but you can mix and match however you want.
Propagation delay through the units is not noticeable.

No need for any extra Midi interfaces.

All the best
Royce
