Well midi is so down with the scrambled firmware chip in it that no firmware can be loaded.
So everyone, contact me if you have any broken, maimed, ran over, not powering up, or otherwise not working BCR2000s I can buy from you for parts.

Thanks Royce
Midi is down when the bad ROM is in. The only things that seem to work are global setup and the preset inc/dec.So I have my doubts whether the loader will be able to talk to the unit but I can try, thanks. It's at my office, I'll try Monday.
I have reason to think it took a power hit from a thunderstorm.

HiYes it is the firmware ROM.Before you try and replace it, have you tried reloading the latest firmware?http://www.behringerdownload.de/B-Control_download/bcr2000_1-10.zip
and the firmware loaderhttp://www.behringerdownload.de/B-Control_download/Update_Utility.zip
