Hi guys, I dont understand the theory behind sysex, the fundamentals of MIDI programming etc, and all this other stuff (rookie here!) however, I would love to learn more about all this. I've been using MIDI when I got my 1st DAW with Cubase - then I got a MIDI keyboard, then the BCR2000. Essentially I have managed to figure out how to use this gear to play the various VST's and to control various parameters and functions in Cubase. Right now, i program the BCR2000 with Birdy's BCFEdit and I have come up with lots of presets in conjuction with Cubase's Generic Remote system. What i would like to know is, with these pdf that has been posted up by Mark, what can I do with this that I cant do with the current edit programs? Also, like I said before - I would like to understand all this and I dont know where to start. Would anyone be able to give me a few pointers into where to start, and get me on the right road? I imagine there's so much that can be done with my BCR and im not really using it to its full potential. I appreciate any help!
