I've actually used BC Convert and have writing a cross-platform UI on
my list of things to do.
(the problem when you have gear is, you dont want to write code. And
when you write code, you dont have time to play with the gear you are
writing
code for) :-)

I'm new to this group and didn't know about the other tools until
recently, and as yet, I haven't used the other tools for the BCR, but
I have a feeling (just from the messages posted) that those tools may
be further along than BC convert.

However, there's another forum where I belong to that has many users
who uses the BCR 2000. This is my primary drive for writing a UI for
it.
