My PC is fine,
My BCF ALWAYS works
My BCR always works on my XP laptop....

but on my DAW it keps crapping out.
I thought I'd solved it one controller connected to rear USB, one to
front.
BCR crapped out agin.

AAARGGGGHHHHH!!!

Any suggestions?
Don't suggest cables etc - it works fine on my Laptop....

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
