As far as I can tell that seems to be an omission in the generic remote.

You can still control it but you'll have to edit the xml file by hand.

here's how I did it.

I used EncoderGroup B because it was free

I first set up pans on EGB_En 1 to EGB_En 8

Normal pan the only option shown.

EGB_En 1 / VST mixer / Audio 01 / Panner --> PanLR

when you've done all 8 save the xml file

open the xml file in notepad

go down to :

what you're looking for is;
panner : panX

after the X insert a 2 (Don't add spaces)

so you'll have panX2 leave everything else the same.

save the XML, import it back in Cubase

that's it.

It's a hack but it works on my cubase sx 3.1.1

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
