Hi Shane:


In order for the "BCF View" utility to work, the BCF2000 must be on, 
connected, and booted into one of the appropriate 'Mackie Control' 
emulation modes.  Additionally, a suitable software application - 
such as Cubase SX or Sonar - must be  running and connected to the 
BCF2000 as a 'Mackie Control'. 

On the original Mackie Control hardware that is being emulated by the 
BCF2000's emulation mode displays on the hardware display text that 
is sent to the unit from your recording software. Similarly, the "BCF 
View" applet intercepts these text 'labels' and displays them - but 
only if appropriate DAW software that supports the Mackie Control 
protocol is sending text to be displayed.
