Thanks for the replys! I have since found many references to XP recognising the BCR as 'USB Audio Device' I initialy thought this was an error because Live (or Reason for that matter) will not converse with the BCR. Now I know that being listed as 'USB Audio Device' is all ok it still does not answer why it will not work? Global is set to U-1. All midi settings in live as they should be but will not communicate, at all (on any preset). Have sys-ex-ed tha factory presets using midi-ox, still not working. All started goin pete tong when tried to instal MCU. Since then nothing has worked and Live has even stated to crash when I'm in the midi section of preferecnes. Live has NEVER crashed before. Anyone have an idea of what to do as I've read all thats in the manuals several times. I will add that I had also installed a BCR driver from the Behringer site at about the same time as I tried to set up the MCU, anyone found the BCR drivers cause a problem? ? --- In bc2000@yahoogroups.com, "Karl Lurman" <karl.lurman@...> wrote: > > Mac lets you rename midi devices and even assign different icons to > them...
