Now we're cooking with gas -- I can send snapshots from my Keystation
88 and record them to a button. In the last 20 minutes I programmed 8
presets for one of my "synth" models (combines a simple
single-operator FM synth with PWM acting on a sine wave). I set up a
loopback in Midi Ox so that pressing the "preset" button sends the
controller change data back to the BCR, so knob and button positions
are updated when you switch "presets".
I also tried to record the BCR's settings from the parameter edit
page, but alas you can't get to "receive snapshot" from the recording
dialogue. Aside from the fact that the BCR could send more data than
it could store in a single button, are there any reasons why that
couldn't work? Not a big thing (since I can copy and paste from the
"receive snapshot" page and accomplish the same thing), but it'd be
nice for workflow purposes.
Thanks again for your efforts!
