Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Here's a weird dilemma I'm hoping someone can solve for me.
When I'm controlling the volume of different patches by the Push 
Encoders on the Nano, it's working BACKWARDS. 
When the light is illuminated and the Nano screen says ON, the sound 
of that channel is OFF, and when the light is OFF and the screen says 
OFF, the sound is ENABLED.
That is bizarre and I can't figure out how to reverse it. Any ideas?
I assume the 2000 works in a similar manner to the Nano.
