Lost in the Woods

2009-09-22 by steven_wormser

Hi, I don't know what I am doing. Running Vista 64 bit and Cubase4.
Trying to set up a BCF and BCR. I have gone through the steps as carefully as I can, the only response I am getting from the BCF are tones when I adjust the faders. They do move back to the bottom after a couple seconds and the cubase screen indicates that it is receiving information. I contacted Behringer and they say that it will not work with a 64 bit system. I see many on line who seem to have it working fine as a usb controller. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Is it time to return the equipment? Why can't life be simple?

Hi Gregg,
thanks for your response, I tried the things in the link above as well as to a rear usb port on the computer. It said that it had successfully loaded the drivers?? After restarting everything, It works!! Sort of,
It is still creating tones when I adjust the faders a when I adjust the pan the pitch is shifted on unrelated tracks. Does that sound like anything you have dealt with before?
