BCR2000 broken?? help please

BCR2000 broken?? help please

2007-01-03 by Andrew Le

i just bought the BCR2000 and when i plug it into the socket and turn
it on, the thing lights up like a christmas tree but i cant seem to
switch it into any of the modes its sopposed to go into (such as,
indicated by the manual, global mode or the like)

i dont know if the unit itself is broke or im doing something wrong,
but this problem is really bothering me, any help or advice would be
much appreciated

(p.s. as the back ground story i got it shipped by ups so i dont know
if that might be a factor of the thing being bounced around a little)

Hi Andrew,
do you have a PC? Can you connect it to MidiOx and see if there is
MIDI comming out of the thing?
I guess you have tried pushing down on the Edit key and pressing Store
to get it to go into Global mode.
Try a reset of the device.
Press and hold Edit
Press Exit.
Now see if it will go into Global mode
Best of luck
Royce
