Pro Tools compatibility

2011-02-16 by Tony Millyard

Hi

Does anyone know if the BCF2000 will work with my ProTools V7.4 system. I
cant find anything in the Behringer bumpf which say it does but I cant see
why it wont.

Any info greatly received before I purchase one

Thanks in advance

Tony

It should work fine in HUI mode. I don't have the manual handy, but IIRC
changing modes simply requires holding down a couple of keys while you turn
the power on, and it will retain that mode until you change it.

There is some good documentation at www.behringer.com, including some
templates you can cut out and put over the keys on the BCF 2000. I think
there is something like a "presets addendum" that explains the whole
process.

Good luck!

Most useful thanks -I will go ahead and purchase. Looking forward to less mouse and more slider for my next mixdown.

Hi Bill
Thanks for your reply - It looks like it should be useable so I will go ahead and purchase. Might be an hour of fun with the manual to get it going but it will be worth it.
Regards
Tony
