Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

is there someone somewhere using an intel mac with prootools and logic?
could he/she answer a few (basic) questions?
do i need to install a driver for the bcf to be recognized?  do i need
to install a driver inside protools to have the BABYhui recognized?
(protools hd v7.3) 

or i am just making it too complicated, and i only need to select the
right mode inside the bcf and it should work? (even though i've tried
that!)

for now, the bcf is a very nice, not too expensive, dust holder!
