Whats the point unless you're too dumb to do the study! Quit spamming and find something useful to do

you can now officially call me Dr. :) Took me about 2 months,
but after calling these guys 1-770 621 2634 they helped get me setup and get fully
accredited! Great people.

I'm sorry these messages get through (the spam, not your reply of course!). I do try to
delete them as soon as I notice them, but it just depends on how busy I am. If we start
getting many more, I should perhaps enable the probationary period for new members.

As for something BC* related. I've been thinking of getting a cheap BCR, ripping out it's
encoders, and placing them into a custom box with a more ergonomic layout. I can
dream....

Have a good weekend,

Graham

Graham,

I make membership by approval and that stops most of the spam, then I also follow up by deleting members who do spam - for groups that I moderate.

Members need to tell me why they want to join and they usually write things like "I have a BCF 2000", etc. It keeps the bots from crashing your group. Makes the group more pleasant too. I also asked a member I trust to co-moderate, so if I fall off the planet, somebody can keep it going.

Steve
